Visa and Entry Requirements

A passport valid for at least three months beyond the length of stay is required for all nationals except for citizens of EU or EFTA states. Depending on your nationality you may also need a visa to enter the EU (Schengen Visa category C for stays up to 180 days) in order to attend the 73rd IFALPA Conference in Luxembourg. Please click here for a listing of countries whose citizens will need a visa.

Visa applications should in principle be lodged at least 15 calendar days before the intended visit (date of entry into the EU Schengen area) and cannot be lodged earlier than 3 months before the start of the intended visit (date of entry into the EU Schengen area).

In case you experience any problems obtaining a Schengen Visa to attend the 73rd IFALPA Conference in Luxembourg or need any assistance, please get in touch with our office at office@alpl.lu.
