Dear members,

We would like to inform you that an appendix to the collective working agreement has been signed on March 10th, 2017 modifying the MUC-LIS and MUC-OPO rotation.
For this summer season the MUC-LIS can alternatively be replaced by the new pairing MXP-LIS.
Additionally to the conditions foreseen for the MUC-LIS pairing the duty the daybefore and the day after the MXP-LIS pairing cannot exceed 8 hours.

This new pairing should also be distributed equitably amongst the crews (this means in average for 2017: SCCM: 1 pairing, CCM: 3 pairings, B737 Captains: 4 pairings, B737 Copilots: 5 pairings).

Appendix 2017-2018 to the CWA, Part FDR 7.14:
The applicable pairings will be LUX-MUC-LUX-LIS-LUX called MUC-LIS and LUX-MUC-LUX-OPO-LUX called MUC-OPO operated under the following conditions from Mondays to Fridays, including a business class, applicable to all fleets.

  • 50€ flight allowance
  • 1 credit unit/ pairing
  • hot meal/Boeing (business meal for other fleets) for CREW
  • maximum 10 landings in any consecutive 3 days including the given pairing(also applicable when called out of stand-by)
  • service level defined as follow:
  • C-Class: CB+DRHC/A+REF+IS+RF (morning flights)
    AP+CM/SN+ DRC+REF+COD+IS+RF (day flights)
Y-Class:  CR or CC +DRHC/A+IS (morning flights)
    SW+DRHC/A+IS (day flights)
  • an additional Cabin Crew on the pairings will be GRANTED by the scheduling department.
  • an additional credit/unit will be granted to the whole crew if the entire pairings exceed 12 hours.

If MUC-LIS and MUC-OPO will still be operated in winter season 2018-2019, the present appendix remains applicable to the end of the season.
As an alternative the rotation MUC-LIS can be replaced during the summer season 2017 by a new pairing namely LUX-MXP-LUX-LIS-LUX called MXP-LIS under the previously mentioned conditions.

The concerned pairing must be dispatched equitably among the crews (exception if a crew member is specifically requesting these pairings).
The day before and after this pairing cannot exceed a duty of 8 hours.
