IFALPA published a Safety Bulletin based on information received from IFALPA ‘s Member Association for Iceland (FIA). FIA has notified IFALPA that operators may not be aware that Iceland has published a difference to ICAO SARPs in their AIP, which specifies that alternates are required for operations into Iceland.
We encourage you to take note of this important Safety Bulletin if you operate in to Iceland.
